Askar Biishev (He/Him)

Askar Biishev is an Art Director at Gazizoff Digital, where he leads visual and digital experiences for medical, healthcare, and wellness organizations. Over the past six years, he has contributed to more than 600 projects and campaigns for 90+ clients—translating complex offerings into clear, high-performing creative across web, brand, and content.

Askar began in design school, but quickly became obsessed with how design and engineering work together. At 17, he started building websites for corporate companies, developing a rare hybrid skill set that blends art direction, UX thinking, and hands-on web development.

Known for pushing creative teams toward modern production, Askar has been an early adopter of AI in visual design—pioneering the use of design systems, video AI, and emerging tools to speed up iteration while maintaining a high standard of craft. His work is recognized in the broader community as well: he serves as a jury member for graphic and web design/development competitions and contributes to AI and web design communities through online education, conferences, and seminars.
