What is Direct message?

Direct message (DM) is a private message sent through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It allows users to send messages to one or more other users.

By default, direct messages from non-followers are usually filtered to a secondary inbox. If you want to use social media to communicate with anyone, you can change this feature in the settings.
