Types of SEM

Organic SEM strategies are called search engine optimization (SEO). You optimize your website to rank organically on search. SEO usually takes time and effort.

Paid SEM strategies are called search engine advertising (SEA). You pay to be at the top right away. To appear at the top of the search, you must continue paying.
