What is Venture Capitalist?

A venture capitalist (VC) is an individual or a firm that invests in early-stage companies. Venture capitalists provide seed or Series A funding to help companies get off the ground. In exchange for their investment, VCs receive equity in the business.

Though venture capitalists often have lots of resources to invest in, they tend to be careful. So they usually invest in companies with high growth potential.
